JOB SUMMARY :
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day tracking and coordination of projects, programs and initiatives. This position will lead the oversight of project intake, demand, cloud computing and storage costs, financial operations, and other key business management tasks that support program initiatives.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, maintain, and monitor cloud usage and spending data to forecast and track cloud costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies with finance to optimize cloud computing and storage costs and to drive cost and usage optimization initiatives
- Maintain intake, demand, and planning processes to improve forecast accuracy for the team; update forecasts for new products and projects based on demand, capacity, and schedule
- Analyzes project plans, timelines and project related work to identify efficiencies. Promotes process improvement between functional areas within the team to identify areas of opportunity for improved efficiency, effectiveness, and enhanced outcomes.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Coordinate with various team members to monitor and maintain workforce capacity vs. new and existing demand of projects and initiatives.
- Use and maintain the demand and project management planning software such as Jira, Smartsheet, etc. and summarize overall status and demand vs. capacity for management reporting.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc data extractions, reports, and analysis summaries
- Develop and enhance new and existing operational processes, with a goal of continuous improvement and operation efficiencies.
