Associate Attorney
A nursing home group is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their team.
Associate Attorney Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with at least 2 years’ experience and/or Senior Nurse Paralegal with at least 7 years’ experience to work alongside Corporate General Counsel in the health care space assisting in contract review, medical records reviews broadly focused litigation, also involved with risk management, corporate and compliance and insurance. Must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, fluent with relevant technologies, a strong writer, a passionate advocate, have strong legal research skills and be personable and well-organized. Salary commensurate with experience.
The Position
- Independently manage workload
- Work closely with facility personnel and outside attorneys legal projects
- Be prepared to handle a broad palate of legal subjects
Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- JD or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited law school or paralegal program
- Admitted to practice in New York (as relevant)
- 2 years’ experience for legal associate; 7 years of experience for Nursing Paralegal.
- Experience in the health care space.
- Ability to integrate into a fast-team-oriented oriented environment
- Legal project management experience is helpful
A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law.
