What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Caresoft Global, Inc?
- Maintain a high-quality relationship with the manufacturing team they are supporting
- Support manufacturing Build in Quality initiative by providing a last line of defense inspection of the product for their area
- Execute product and process validation / inspection plans
- Identify and contain suspect defective material
- Have the potential to utilize advanced metrology equipment to control processes and identify defects
- Inspect, test or measure components, products and materials being produced.
- Initiate and participate in quality related continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects
- Develop, maintain, and improve the quality culture within responsible area
- May perform other duties as assigned Potential business travel to support product /process development at company and supplier locations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: - Manufacturing/assembly/quality process and/or automotive repair and/or mechanical experience ( 2 years preferred)
Preferred Qualifications: -
- High volume manufacturing experience -
- 2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or quality experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to communicate in a high-pressure environment.
