Title: Data Center Technician

Note: Hours will be from 8:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with some weekend work possible.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all data center consolidation tasks, including but not limited to cable management, hardware physical deployment and troubleshooting.
Triaging hardware issues, working with vendors to coordinate repair window.
Familiarity with IPMI configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity working with MS office is desired.
Familiar with labeling equipment to generate cable labels, following standard process.
Work with Service Now ticketing tool to manage assigned task tickets.
During business hours, leverage e-mail or SLACK to remain in contact with project team.
Take direction from onsite team.
Deployment of network or associated hardware into data center racks per task ticket.
Follow safety guidelines when working in the data center including use of lifts, ladders, and safety items.
Mange additional tasks as directed by the project or on-site team.
Attention to detail in maintaining CMDB and related data center documentation.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Responsible to submit timecard to project lead (TBD) each week for approval.
