Responsibilities include:
Responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with IDD/special needs while implementing and following an individualized service plan
Assisting with transportation and community integration activities: You will be responsible for accompanying individuals to recreational activities and community events, ensuring their safety and promoting their independence
Assisting with behavioral management and crisis intervention: You will be trained to effectively manage challenging behaviors and provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals
Promoting independence and self-advocacy for individuals: You will empower individuals to make choices and decisions, promoting their independence and self-advocacy skills
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and car
Experience working with IDD patients a plus
Physical stamina and mobility to perform repetitive tasks and lift minor to moderate weights
Positive, optimistic attitude
