RN Weekend Manager | 7am tp 7pm

Are you a super-dependable, detail-oriented, get-it-done kind of person? Do you have solid clinical leadership experience? Are you a licensed RN in the state of Ohio? If so, you could be the next RN Weekend Manager at Hillspring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Springboro, OH.

$25 To $43 Per Hour

You’ll direct and assist with equipment care and cleaning. You’ll communicate and work as a team with all departments. You’ll help ensure the overall safety and cleanliness of the unit. And you’ll greet and direct unit visitors.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Administrative & patient care
• Supervising & overseeing STNA’s
• Ensuring personnel, medical staff, patients & the public abide by departmental policies
• Working on the unit designated by the D.O.N., A.D.O.N, or Supervisor
• Checking 24-hour report sheet for changes/updates in patient care needs
• Making walking rounds, supervising N.A. care
• Administering medication (including IV) & treatment per Physician’s orders
• Attempting to meet the spiritual & psychological needs of patients with the resources available
• Assisting with & directing the patient admission/discharge process
• Giving & receiving reports with oncoming staff at the beginning & change of shift
• Taking and transcribing physician orders
• Answering telephone inquiries
• Evaluating patient care needs/condition while developing & adding to existing individual plans of care
• Handling patient admission process in the absence of the documentation nurse
• verifying physician orders
• transcribing pre-admission information
• arranging diagnostic & therapeutic needs inside & outside of the facility
• ordering medication/treatment
• communicating patient needs to dietary
• completing necessary admission paperwork
• Transferring & discharging patients
• arranging transportation
• communicating with family/responsible party
• completing appropriate paperwork
• Maintaining appropriate documentation in the patient electronic medical record
  
  

You’ll Need To Have:

• A valid nursing license in the state of Ohio
• Met the required continuing education hours per licensure period
• Good physical & mental health
• A positive attitude & a passion for working with the elderly
• Willingness to perform non-professional duties
• A level-head to take or give direction in an emergency situation
• Willingness to place patient needs above your own
