Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver to join our team at Chesterwood Village. As a Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and timely transportation to our residents on scheduled and non-scheduled basis. You will transport residents to various destinations, including doctor's appointments and group outings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and timely transportation services to ensure residents arrive at their appointments on schedule.
- Operate the bus safely and smoothly, adhering to speed limits and avoiding sudden movements.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times, including regular refueling, fluid checks, and maintenance services.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance.
- Assist residents with mobility needs, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.
- Develop and implement effective routes for safe and efficient transportation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.
- The ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds.
- A pleasant and courteous attitude, with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to remain calm and composed in routine and emergency situations.
