What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Unit Manager position at Carespring?
We need a talented and experienced RN Unit Manager to help oversee our nursing staff at Highlandspring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Thomas, KY.
$35 to $42 Per Hour
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Providing leadership to nursing staff by overseeing the daily Nursing Department operations
- Maintaining compliance with Department of Health regulations
- Promoting excellent customer service experience and clinical outcomes
- Analyzing trends and implementing solutions for quality assurance initiatives
- Completing daily documentation and clinical chart reviews
- Overseeing staffing levels, work schedules and assignments for staff
- Performing personnel management duties
- Participating in recruiting, training, and development of staff
You'll Need to Have:
- A Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky
- Proven leadership experience in a nursing home setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in English
- Familiar with federal and state laws governing long-term care
- Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong physical assessment skills
