What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator (RN / LPN / STNA) position at Carespring?
We need a Full-Time Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our team as Staffing Coordinator at Sycamorespring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Miamisburg, OH.
$17 to $38 Per Hour (Salary based on credentials and experience)
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Receiving and following work schedule/instructions from your supervisor
- Scheduling Nursing Assistants to meet staffing guidelines and census, replacing vacancies as needed. Serving as the on-call aide if the position cannot be filled
- Fulfilling the duties of an STNA or restorative aide as needed, including taking an assignment
- Maintaining close daily communication with the RN Unit Manager
- Focusing on staff retention and promoting positive team member morale
- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident care
- Knowing and adhering to facility policy and procedures as well as Federal and State regulations
- Attending and participating in educational classes and on the job training programs
- Building service credibility by displaying a positive attitude toward residents, families, and co-workers and by exhibiting courtesy, concern and competency when resolving customer complaints
- Providing a committed and caring environment; a commitment to integrity, quality, excellence and continuous improvement
- Managing human and material resources ethically; encouraging all personnel, including volunteers, and providing a high quality of life for residents/patients
- Responding to all emergencies
You'll Need To Have:
- Experience in a Scheduling or Team Leader Capacity
- Active Ohio Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
- Experience in a geriatric healthcare setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Good organizational skills.
- Working computer knowledge
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certificate
