Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Develop and follow personalized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Assist with patient mobility and transportation as needed.
- Work collaboratively with families and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Skills
- Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
