Caseload: 40 students
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with elementary aged children in a public school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language development, assessment, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations of students' speech and language skills
- Provide individual, small-group, or classroom therapy sessions to help students develop necessary speech skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate students' academic, communication, and social skills
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Provide counseling and education to families on communication strategies and techniques
- Serve as a consultant to other educators and related professionals on speech and language development
Requirements:
- CA SLP License
- Experience working with elementary aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and treatment
