POSITION TITLE: Director of Revenue
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
CareSTL Health is seeking a Director of Revenue. The Director of Revenue directs and oversees the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of CARESTL HEALTH's revenue cycle activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Director of Revenue may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.
- Evaluates billing and accounts receivable reports to analyze performance, errors, inefficiencies, additional sources of revenue and collections, declines in revenue and payment trends
- Reviews, designs and implements processes surrounding pricing, billing, third party payer relationships, collections and other financial analyses to ensure that clinical revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized
- Fully understand the EHR billing system including reporting, processes and configuration, make recommendations as necessary to maximize revenue capture
- Monitors and reports performance metrics of 3rd party billing/ collection company.
- Oversee the billing and registration processes including staff performance.
- Devises and implements policies and procedures for collection and auditing of accounts in compliance with statutory regulations.
- Schedules and holds meetings to resolve delinquency and other violations
- Reviews reports and prepares revenue estimates for budgetary action
- Disseminates routine revenue cycle performance reporting to Chief Financial Officer

- Master's Degree in Accounting or related field required
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience required
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good oral and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and self-motivational skills.
- Proficient with Excel for analytics.
- Transportation Requirement:
- Must have reliable transportation
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Registration and Billing departments

- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
