Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients' functional status, mobility, endurance, stamina, pain, and other medical conditions to determine their care needs
- Determining treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Implementing interventions to enhance patients' well-being and evaluating progress towards goals
You will also be responsible for:
- Evaluating patients' physical therapy needs and developing individualized plans of care
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement therapy plans
- Observing and reporting patients' responses to treatment and changes in condition to supervising nurses and/or physicians
- Treating patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using evidence-based practices
- Instructing and informing patients, families, and healthcare teams about plans of care, functional limitations, and progress towards goals
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice
- Have current CPR certification
- Possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
