Key Responsibilities
- Evaluating patient care needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, stamina, pain, and other medical conditions
- Determining treatment plans based on assessments and evaluations
- Performing interventions to enhance patients' well-being and evaluate progress
You will also be responsible for:
- Evaluating patients' functional status and physical therapy needs
- Assisting physicians in developing therapy plans of care
- Observing and reporting patients' responses to treatment and changes in condition to supervising nurses and/or physicians
- Treating patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice
- Instructing and informing health care teams, patients, and family/caregivers regarding plans of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice
- Have current CPR certification
- Possess a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle
