Spring Hill Veterinary Clinic, a CareVet partner, is seeking a full time Veterinarian to join or thriving practice in Spring Hill, KS. This small animal practice is looking for a dynamic full time Veterinarian to be part of a collaborative and tenured team! This position offers six figure salary plus production, a generous bonus package, paid family leave and schedule flexibility (rotating half day Saturday).

About the Hospital
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, efficient, friendly individual looking for a diverse medical and surgical caseload. Spring Hill is a busy four doctor, small animal practice in Spring Hill, KS. Our state-of-the-art facility offers in-house blood machine, digital radiography, ultrasound, TonoVet, and Avimark medical software. We have a wonderful team and focus on quality medicine, and building relationships with our clients. We believe we should always offer the highest quality care. Our doctors have no after-hours emergencies.
Spring Hill is located just a few minutes South of Overland Park / Kansas City in a rapidly growing, affluent area. Fun family environment with small town feel, yet only minutes away from the KC metroplex.

- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
