Job Description: Kennel Assistant

496 Willow Rd. Walnutport, PA, 18088
Monday-Friday afternoon/evenings, Part time - up to 30 hours/week and weekend rotation.
Kennel for dogs, cats, and exotic pets.

Skills Required:
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Must have confidence and be able to work with large, strong dogs.
- Punctual - Must be on time and reliable.
- Assist in the daily care of animals in the kennel.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas.
- Feed and water animals according to their specific needs.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor.
- Assist with grooming and bathing animals.
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with intake and discharge of animals.
- Minor cleaning, Laundry, sweeping/mopping, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Salary : $12 - $13
