We are urgently seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our team in Portage, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to provide personalized care to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. As a caregiver, you will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and ensure clients' well-being and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support mobility, including transfers and walking assistance.
- Prepare nutritious meals based on client care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help clients with medication reminders and light housekeeping.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Report changes in client health to family or medical staff.
Qualifications:
- Prior caregiving experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move clients with assistance.
