The Personal Care Specialist is responsible for executing duties according to the client’s plan of care. Responsibilities include but are not limited to activities of Household Care, Personal Care and Supportive Care.
DUTIES: Duties are assigned as the plan of care for every individual client, including but not limited to one or more of the following:
Tidying- up the house and helping with basic housekeeping tasks to keep the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client.
Preparing- snacks and meals to help sustain and satisfy the client throughout your time with them.
Feeding - Assist clients with meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
Encouraging- light exercise (walks, bikes, swims, stretches) to keep the client active and moving.
Grooming - Help clients maintain personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
Bathing -safely assist clients during bathing routines
Transporting- the client to nearby appointments or engagements. Take the client to social activities, fairs and events in the community or with family and friends.
