Carex is partnering with a Healthcare Technology industry partner to find a Principal Product Manager to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and development efforts for telephony features and enhancements. This role will collaborate closely with product leadership and external partners to ensure seamless interoperability between customer and cloud communication infrastructures. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in telecommunication technologies and product management methodologies to enhance user experience and optimize performance in healthcare communication solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in telecommunication technologies and product management methodologies to enhance user experience and optimize performance in healthcare communication solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the VP of Product to set communications product strategy and direction.
- Define, plan, and manage the roadmap for telephony features and enhancements.
- Identify customer pain points and needs through engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for hospital operators and customer contact centers.
- Act as a key point of contact for external development and integration partners.
- Establish and articulate product strategy based on corporate objectives, customer feedback, industry trends, and engineering insights.
- Lead product development efforts, including writing specifications, defining acceptance criteria, and prioritizing backlogs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using agile methodologies to bring product concepts to life.
- Triage and prioritize bugs, providing direction for engineering and QA teams.
- Analyze product performance using tools such as Mixpanel, Appsflyer, and Crashlytics.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MS or MBA preferred.
- 12 years of relevant experience as a product leader or consultant in software development, healthcare, and/or telephony solutions.
- Strong expertise in telecommunication systems and technologies (SIP, TLS, SRTP, WebRTC).
- Deep knowledge of IP (internet protocol) and networking technologies.
- Experience with legacy contact center technologies (Cisco, Nortel, Avaya) preferred.
- Familiarity with modern CCaaS technologies such as Cisco Webex, Twilio Flex, Amazon Connect, and Amazon Chime.
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure) preferred.
- Proficiency in standard product management methodologies and agile development practices.
- Ability to analyze technical concepts, assess trade-offs, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and user-centered design sensibility.
- Experience developing enterprise or B2B products with a focus on intuitive UX.
