As part of our growing team, you will play a key role in organizing, supporting, and coordinating various activities that drive the success of our circularity initiatives.
Data Analyst - Role Overview :
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our efforts through data-driven insights. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from our textile to textile trials and other ACP programs. You will work closely with Program Directors in the US and EU, and other team members to provide actionable insights that convey the impact of our circular value chains. Successful candidates must be extremely reliable and able to work independently. This role may involve occasional travel.
Responsibilities :
Data Collection & Management :
Develop data requests and data collection protocols for monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEL) for all Accelerating Circularity trials and other programs using Airtable.
Enter, clean, and code data for analysis ensuring accuracy and integrity of all Airtable databases.
Develop codebooks, file specifications, and other resource documents
Apply best practices in research data management
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all data sources and Airtable bases.
Develop and maintain Airtable databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to track trial results, materials usage, waste reduction, recycling efficiency, and other key circularity metrics.
Data Analysis & Reporting :
- Conduct in-depth analysis of trial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving circular practices.
Use Airtable's built-in analysis and reporting features, as well as integration with external tools (e.g., Excel, Google Suite), to generate insights
Create reports, dashboards and other types of data visualizations for internal and external audiences that clearly communicate findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :
Collaborate with Program Directors and external partners to provide data-driven insights to support the scaling and replication of successful circular initiatives.
Participate in project meetings to ensure alignment on data collection methodologies and reporting standards.
Provide technical assistance to program participants as needed to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Develop relationships with relevant software suppliers, support resources, and forums
Continuous Improvement & Innovation :
Apply best practices in research and data management, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in data analysis and circular economy practices.
Recommend improvements to Airtable data collection processes, analytical frameworks, and reporting formats to enhance decision-making.
Contribute to the development of new circularity metrics and KPIs as part of ongoing efforts to drive sustainability across the organization.
Key Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Analytics, or a related field.
2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in sustainability, circular economy, or a related field.
Experience with data collection, cleaning, and visualization in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
Familiarity with circular economy principles and sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Airtable : Expertise in creating and managing Airtable bases, setting up automated workflows, building dashboards, and utilizing Airtable's reporting tools.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, R, or similar data processing languages.
Strong knowledge of database management and data processing tools (SQL, cloud platforms, etc.).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
Ability to identify key trends, correlations, and actionable insights that drive business and sustainability outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
