Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in assisted living facilities or home care settings. Your responsibilities will include providing direct support, ensuring resident rights are upheld, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for a bed bound 61 year old.

Duties

• - Changing bed linens and ensuring the bed is comfortable and clean.
• - Turning and repositioning the person regularly to prevent bedsores.
• - Assisting with feeding and ensuring they have a balanced diet.
• - Administering medications as prescribed.
• - Monitoring their health and reporting any changes to a healthcare provider.
• - Providing companionship and emotional support.
• - Helping with physical therapy exercises if recommended by a healthcare professional.
• - Ensuring the environment is safe and accessible.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or assisted living environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility challenges.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality is required.
• Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring is necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.40 - $14.12 per hour
