Reports To: Manager on Duty
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Server to join our team at Cargo. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent dining experiences by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests warmly.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Handle guest requests and special dietary needs.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, chairs, and dining areas.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
- Uphold restaurant policies, health and safety regulations, and alcohol service laws.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
