Role Summary:

The Revenue Management Analyst steers the allocated capacity (customers/stations) as well as the free sale capacity for a set of defined markets through Revenue Management Systems to achieve the optimal balance of load factor and revenue results for those markets, and for the network. The analyst carries out extensive market analysis, competitor analysis, identifies trends and implements strategies in the Revenue Management Systems. He or she pro-actively acts on changing market conditions by short-term adjusting flight steering models and pricing methods, adjusting routes in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and by reviewing the seasonal allocation strategies.

The ideal candidate will drive and support the Area pricing and route strategies and support the department with system development and implementation of new concepts.

Key Activities :

  • Ensure the route forecast is optimal across your markets
  • Utilize all available reports and sources to understand your market, its performance and the economic environment in which it is operating
  • Use the understanding of your markets to define and implement strategies in the revenue management systems
  • Review your flight level forecasts and booking ramp ups and ensure the optimal settings given the current environment and performance
  • Identify opportunities for capacity and revenue optimization
  • Recommend changes in strategy to better optimize load factors and revenues
  • Suggest changes in pricing, capacity, frequencies to maximize revenue on portfolio of markets
  • Provide structural performance reports with right-sizing recommendations
  • Assist in field training to launch potential new concepts and tools

Essential Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Operations research Airline Revenue Management experience or tertiary qualifications in a numerical or business-related discipline are a plus
  • Very good knowledge in MS Office tools (Excel proficiency a must)
  • Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communicator (both written and verbal) across all levels of the organization and with a good command of the English language
  • Able to find solutions to complex, cross-functional problems
  • Self-starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement them
  • Organized and disciplined – able to manage delivery of multiple objectives
  • Flexibility to adaptively respond to a range of different work situations
  • Be trustworthy, honest, business-minded and support and promote company values
