What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist Regional Security Area1 position at Cargolux?
TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Manager Corporate Security Standard by gathering security incident reports, analyzing data and evidences, investigating cases (including on-site investigation) and present conclusions that suggest remedial options to reduce further exposure to unlawful interferences and help in improving customer relationship and retention in the events of incident(s) with Strategic accounts.
- Based on the annual Quality Control plan and risk assessment, support the Corporate Security Standard department by conducting quality controls (Audit, Inspection, Test) on stations or specific processes identified as potentially not compliant with company Security standards. Allow increase of scope to Physical Security requriements at outstations and facilitates the deployment of unannounced inspections
- Support Cargolux ACC3s by conduting on-site prevalidation in view of the effective ACC3 validations conducted by DAC (LUX CAA)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
Education
- General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur)
- Bachelor degree in Security or equivalent
- Air Cargo Security experience will be required
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Aviation, Cargo and/or Security
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position (Investigator or Auditor)
- A solid background in air cargo operations, with knowledge on processes and key players
- Knowledge & operational background in Aviation/Air Cargo and/or Military/Police will constitute an advantage
- Experience in investigation techniques
- Experience in Audits
- Good understanding of EU laws, rules and regulations, International Conventions and/or International Aviation Laws
- Experience in working with Aviation Authorities
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanich. Proficiency in Portuguese will be considered an advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Frequent travel required within the entire allocated region.
