Dispatcher
Cargomatic is looking for a Dispatcher to join our West End Express growing team! We’re seeking self-starters who are eager to learn and advance professionally in an ever growing industry. As a Dispatcher, you’ll be responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and resolving problems for our drivers, contractors, and carriers. This position requires you to have exceptional communication skills, proactive customer service skills, and the ability to problem-solve in a deadline driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, contractors, and carriers
- Plan routes to ensure that pick-ups and deliveries are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Build strong relationships with carriers and customers
- Assess driver and vehicle capability for each requested haul
- Tracking and tracing of shipments
- Problem-solve and communicate any issues, delays, or concerns with shipments
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting and data entry
- Provide exceptional customer service to carriers and internal / external customers
- Navigate Cargomatic’s proprietary software to manage daily operations and loads

Position Location : This position will be located at West End Express (a division of Cargomatic) in Dayton, NJ 08810.
The expected annual compensation range for this role is maximum $30 / hour. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
