Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts
As a Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts, you’ll work closely with Sales and our Strategic Account leaders to expand an already established account.The ideal candidate will be able to work within Cargomatic and the Strategic Account teams to resolve daily tactical issues as well as look to expand business development opportunities for the Strategic Account and Cargomatic.The candidate will add value by educating customers on all the innovative ways Cargomatic delivers supply chain and logistics solutions and will have revenue growth expectations as a large component of their commission. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong analytical as well as interpersonal skills to deliver these expectations and will be a hunter, goal-oriented, and innovative in developing successful supply-chain strategies. This is an individual contributor opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing
- Expand your book of business from an existing Strategic Account by developing trusted relationships and delivering value-added solutions, via face-to-face meetings, networking, and closing new deals
- Develop and execute a business plan that will generate hyper revenue growth and exceed the sales quotas/margin targets set by the company
- Have continuous engagement with customers to maintain close relationships and ensure Cargomatic is overdelivering on the customer’s expectations
- Partner with Cargomatic’s Customer Support and Operations teams to enhance the customer experience and keep customer satisfaction and retention rates high
- Maintain a deep understanding of Cargomatic’s processes and product, and provide best practices on relevant features/functionality to meet customers’ current and future business needs
- Travel required as needed
What You'll Need
- 5 years of outside sales and/or strategic account management experience required, specifically selling drayage, intermodal, LTL, local market, short-haul
- Experience selling to freight forwarders, NVOCCs, BCOs, 3PLs, and warehouse providers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Highly competitive and motivated hunter mentality
- Experience with complex enterprise sales, identifying pain points, and delivering solutions
- Experience driving revenue with large national customers/shippers
- Proven industry track record of winning new business and building strategic partnerships
- Ability to articulate client strategies by using industry knowledge to expand business opportunities and to constructively challenge the status quo
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to overcome objections
- Accountability, ownership. and ability to prioritize daily tasks
- A high level of intellectual curiosity and a mentality of constant improvement

The expected salary range for this role is $110,000 to $135,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
