Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate business goals and objectives for products and services.
This includes:
- Developing and implementing strategic marketing and promotional plans and forecasts.
- Leading and supervising the workflow of other team members in the department.
- Participating in the research and development of new products.
- Working closely with the R&D department on the modification of existing products and termination of ineffective products.
- Gathering and analyzing customer feedback.
- Planning and conducting market research as well as focus groups to gather feedback on new product concepts and existing products.
- Establishing and maintaining a unique product voice throughout all product lines and promotional materials.
- Outlining and managing the marketing department's annual budget; monitoring and tracking costs to deliver on budget.
- Planning and overseeing advertising and promotional activities, including print, electronic and digital media.
- Performing media buys required to promote companies' products and agenda.
- Defining and managing digital marketing for all brands, ie., social media, e-mail/sms, website.
- Working with Senior Sales Manager to drive the sales function by cultivating relationships and executing the company's sales strategies.
- Monitoring the competition including marketing activities on a regular basis.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with select industry influencers.
- Supervising, reviewing and approving all corporate sponsorships and donation requests.
- Representing the company at trade shows, trade association meetings, etc., to promote products.
- Interacting with other departments and key personnel to ensure that all marketing goals and objectives are realized.
