Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are organized and stored properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills.
- Support the kitchen staff by helping with basic food handling and preparation duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen during busy service times.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen, including floors, counters, and equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling guidelines is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
