Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. A strong background in the food industry, particularly in fine dining settings, is preferred.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using OpenTable or similar systems.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring positive guest relations.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, particularly within fine dining establishments.
- Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous.
- Excellent upselling skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
