What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Carico International LLC?
We are looking for a proven Staff Accountant to oversee and perform a variety of accounting duties such as, but not limited to, day-to-day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, daily deposits, data entry etc. who will work closely with the controller. This position offers a forward-thinking candidate intragenerational mobility.
Candidate must possess :
- Bachelor degree in accounting is a minimum.
- Proven work experience in an accounting / bookkeeping or similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial formulas).
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors.
- Great organizational, time-management and analytical thinking skills.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Software Experience : Advanced MS Office. QuickBooks, SAP and JD Edwards a plus
- Wholesale Distributor / Direct sales accounting knowledge helpful.
- Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
