Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is in search of ED EMT’s to join the staff!
Location : 1906 Belleview Ave SE Roanoke, VA 24014
Pay : $18.70 - $26.18 / hour based on experience shift differential
Shift : 7pm-7am
Responsibilities : Assistance with activities of daily living, comfort care and nutritional support.
Performance of selected diagnostic and therapeutic tasks and procedures as directed.
Indirect patient care activities include maintaining a clean safe environment, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, and data collection as pertinent to the patient population.
Transports patients in hospital observing safety guidelines. Maintains advanced transport medical knowledge and abilities.
Must Haves :
- Certified in the State of Virginia as an EMT-Advanced, EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic (required) and maintains National Registered status (preferred).
- BLS / CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PHTLS or BTLS certification required within 1-year of hire.
- One-year EMT-Advanced, EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic experience preferred. Must be an EMT-Advance, EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic and certified in the state of Virginia.
