Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is in search of Pharmacy Techs to join the staff!
Location : 1906 Belleview Ave SE Roanoke, VA 24014
Pay : $17.50 - $20.87, based on experience
Shift : 8 : 30 / 9pm – 7 / 7 : 30am (7 on, 7 off)
Responsibilities : The Certified Pharmacy Technician II works under the lead supervision of a Pharmacist to provide services to Pharmacy customers. The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist in providing Pharmaceutical Care. Specific job duties and responsibilities vary based on the location and type of pharmacy. Routinely interacts with Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, nursing staff and other hospital staff, Physicians, patients, customers, vendors, and drug company representatives.
Must Haves :
- Registration with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals required. Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician is required within 9 months of hire
- Previous pharmacy work experience is preferred. One year of pharmacy experience required for Registrar I
- Successful completion of an approved Pharmacy Technician training course is preferred.
- Successful completion of Pharmacy Service Line competencies within 6 months of hire.
