- Develops an individual orientation plan in collaboration with Education Consultant on an ongoing basis.
- Assists with Orientation Record and Orientation Competency Validation documentation.
- Provides timely and ongoing feedback regarding orientee progress to orientee, Education Consultant, and Manager.
- Assists with annual learning needs assessment on unit.
- Assists staff in coordination of department continuing education.
- Coordinates annual completion of Competency Validation of staff as appropriate.What We Require : Education : Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college.Experience : Two years' experience in clinical discipline required.Licensure / Certification : Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure. BSN Preferred. Obtain CPR, and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.Other : Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC). For Psychiatry and Behavioral Health De-escalation training must be successfully completed within four months of hire and then maintained going forward.
