  • Greet guests and accurately take beverage orders
  • Verify identification and requirements of customers
  • Process payment from customers
  • Keep cash drawer balanced and follow opening and closing procedures with registers
  • Pour and serve beer, wine, and mixed drinks and well as non-alcoholic beverages
  • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
  • Keep bar area and utensils neat and clean
  • Regularly clean windows, doors, tables, floors, and any trash or dirt with regular rounds throughout the shift
  • Open and close the outdoor Bier Garten during seasonal months
  • Maintain the Bier Garten bar during seasonal months
  • Answer guests questions and ensure they have everything they need
  • Build rapport with customers to create a positive atmosphere
  • Answer basic questions about Carillon Brewing Co. and Carillon Historical Park
  • Answer phone calls, listen to voicemails, follow-through with call-backs
  • Maintain proper costuming guidelines and follow Dayton History Employment polices at all times
  • Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate staff
  • Additional duties as assigned by management
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior bartending experience, ServSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred
  • General POS knowledge, experience with Toast preferred
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective team member
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective stress management and conflict resolution skills
  • Interest in craft beer
  • Available for various shifts including weekends
