- Job Summary
Efficiently answer and direct calls of guests and staff. Handle guests’ messages and requests.
Job term: Full-time, through May 2025 (temporary role)
- Essential Job Functions
- Answers and routes telephone calls through NAVIS.
- Must be Logged into Phone System (NAVIS) at all times during shifted time.
- Records messages for guests and staff members.
- Records & performs wake-up calls.
- Records and maintains logs for guest requests and follow up.
- Must be well-versed with all hotel amenities and departments to serve as an ambassador to promote them.
- Understands the telephone phone system (NAVIS).
- Assists in reporting telephone equipment or service complaints and problems.
- Assists in reporting work orders in Amadeus (Hotel Service Optimization System)
- Assists Reservations Department with Emails.
- Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
- Adheres to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort standards for guest services.
- Delivers exceptional levels of customer service to all guests and ensures that all their requests are handled in an efficient and timely manner.
- Completes and shares various department reports in a timely manner.
- Assists Manager of Reservations and Senior Director of Revenue Management with ad hoc projects or other tasks as needed.
- Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
- Previous experience as a PBX Operator and/or Reservations Agent is preferred.
- Must have a high school diploma, associate college degree highly preferred.
- Prior luxury hotel experience highly preferred.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and service oriented.
- Must possess excellent verbal communication, bilingual preferred, excellent organizational skills.
- Must possess basic computer skills and computational ability.
- Must possess the ability to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and have exceptional attendance
