What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Nurse Manager position at Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
Carillon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 315 bed facility located in Huntington, New York. We are looking for a Unit Nurse Manager to direct and supervise a unit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure patient care is completed timely, appropritaely, and accurately.
- Assist with documentaion and completion of admissions, readmissions, room changes, hospital transfers, expirations
- Perform unit rounds to ensure cleanliness and orerliness of unit
- Communicate with families to provide opimal care to residents
- Assist the medication nurse with ensuring all patients get their medications on time and accurately
- Ensure all patients have have appropriate consults in place
- Responsible for MDS completion and care plan initiation and evalutaions.
Qualification:
Graduate of an accredited nusing school
Valid NYS RN License
Minimum of 1 year management experience
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm and every sixth weekend

Pay: $49.00 - $51.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.50 per week
