Carillon Senior Living is recruiting a hospitality-focused LPN to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists / Resident Assistants.
Principal Duties :
- Accurately and precisely administers medications / treatment and documents all medications in accordance with department procedures and expected practices.
- Informs physician, nurse manager, or responsible party / family of changes in resident's condition or incidents when appropriate.
- Ensures each resident's Care Plan is followed to meet the residents' needs and state requirements.
- Supervises and assists assigned Certified Nurse Aides and other nursing staff, delegating assignments and ensuring completion.
- Makes walking rounds with departing nurse and frequently throughout shift including visual and physical assessments, controlled drug counts, and thorough and complete report.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Ensures all transfer, discharge, and admission information is complete according to policy and practice.
- Completes all duties on shift task sheet, monthly summaries, and quarterly assessments.
