The SVP of Hospitality provides a proven sales executive the opportunity to manage the newest channel of this established luxury bedding brand. We are looking for a leader who knows how to build teams, knows how to develop marketing strategies to boost awareness and demand for an incredible product, and can formulate strategies to merge a recently acquired business operating in the hospitality sector, selling bedding and bath towels to hotels and resorts. This leader will be responsible for building a team, collaborating with our internal teams to develop product road maps, developing branding and channel distribution strategies, merchandising solutions, and international expansion.
Also, as GM of our hospitality business, you will lead the existing team, manage the warehouse in Florida, manage the relationships with all of our distributor partners, and develop growth opportunities through advertising, prospecting, trade shows, and building DTC channels with the hospitality products.
We are looking for an experienced sales leader with an established industry network who can acquire customers quickly and hit lofty goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a wholesale growth strategy that incorporates our current brand and reputation with an existing, established player within the hospitality space.
- Manage relationships with all existing distribution partners.
- Manage the warehouse, keeping costs low, create opportunities to leverage the warehouse capacity to optimize warehousing and logistics costs for all channels of the business.
- Collaborate with the product development teams, design teams, fulfillment teams to develop sales strategies to penetrate new accounts and optimize sales within these accounts.
- Build a sales team to help open new accounts and to service all accounts.
- Oversee and negotiate sales agreements for new and existing accounts and ensure accurate management to the agreements by the company.
- Develop sales strategies to sell the products procured and sold through the hospitality industry into e-commerce sites, marketplace, and through wholesale.
- Travel to partners' corporate offices as well as the distribution center in Florida and visits to key accounts around the nation. Expect to travel up to 20% of a month.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor and/or Associate degree in Business, or other related field preferred.
- 10 years experience in wholesale business for consumer goods - in the soft goods (bed or bath) industry preferred.
- Creative thinker that is able to collaborate while developing new plans, processes and solutions.
- Passionate about business expansion and support strategies.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Good understanding of brand building through distributor and wholesale partners.
- Able to generate new ideas and creative solutions with a hands-on mentality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
