To help support our growth, we are looking for a copywriter to support our creative team by creating engaging, concise, and compelling copy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt their writing style to various media and audiences. Under the guidance of our creative team, this copywriter will contribute to developing informational, educational, and marketing materials across multiple channels, including digital, print, blog, and social media.

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) In office 2-3 days per week

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality written content for various campaigns, including but not limited to websites, mobile apps, emails, presentations, and social media posts.
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that communicates our clients’ brands and resonates with their target audiences.
• Collect, review, and accurately cite evidence to support any claims in your content from pertinent sources, including but not limited to white papers, journal articles, agency websites, and reference works.
• Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market competitors, and target demographics to inform content creation and ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Review and edit copy to ensure it is grammatically correct, error-free, and adheres to brand guidelines.
• Assist with SEO optimization by incorporating relevant keywords and phrases into written content to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and subject matter experts, to brainstorm ideas, develop content strategies, and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices, and industry standards in copywriting and digital marketing to enhance skills and contribute innovative ideas to the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or relevant industry experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
• Experience working with life sciences and healthcare industries.
• Comfort with reading, summarizing, synthesizing, and citing scientific and technical content for clients in life sciences, healthcare, and B2B fields.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas and translate them into compelling written content.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong collaborative spirit and willingness to learn from constructive feedback.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma
