*Overview* As a Home Health Aide (HHA) or (CHHA) at Caring for Angels Home Care, you will provide essential personal care services to clients who are elderly, disabled, or recovering from illness or surgery. You will assist with daily activities that promote health, comfort, and well-being, all while fostering a positive and supportive relationship with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Help with mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Help clients with medication reminders and adherence.
- Monitor and record clients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate (as needed).
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients.
- Report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior to the supervisor or family.
- Follow the care plan developed by the registered nurse or care manager.
- Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and regulations regarding client confidentiality and care standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or personal caregiving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Compassionate, patient, and caring demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move clients when necessary.
