We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide in-home, non-medical services to individuals of all ages. As a DSP, you will provide care and support to clients when their regular caregiver is unavailable or to cover shifts that have not been assigned. This role offers career growth opportunities and the chance to work with a variety of clients.
Responsibilities :
As a DSP, you will provide :
- Companionship : engage in activities such as going to appointments, playing games, and reading together
- Housekeeping : assist with light household tasks, laundry, and meal preparation
- Shopping and Errands : help with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and running errands
- Transportation : drive clients to appointments, errands, and social events
- Personal Care : assist with bathing, personal hygiene, and medication reminders
- Meal Preparation : prepare meals, assist with eating, and clean up after meals
- Respite Care : provide relief for primary caregivers while they take a break
- Alzheimer's & Dementia Care : provide specially trained caregiving for individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Hospice Care : provide supportive care in the final stages of terminal illness
