JOB DESCRIPTION: TEAM LEADER
Description: Reports to the Operations Director; supervises and coordinates client care workers and their schedules; monitors and implements daily house routines, house rules and programs for residents; interacts with residents in a supportive manner and encourages them to follow through on their service plans; suggests ideas for program changes/improvements.
Preferred Qualifications: Some college or trade school education preferred and two years of leadership experience. Candidate must be tech-savvy and comfortable using MS Office products and efficient at learning other database programs. S/he is willing to learn, flexible, and is a critical thinker with superb problem-solving skills. Must be committed to helping the homeless shelter population.

Please note the Team Leader will be required to have a flexible schedule to meet the agency's need for 24x7 coverage.
Salary Range: $42, 000 , medical and other benefits

Principal Activities:
- Oversees scheduling of 24x7 coverage and ensures clear communication of changes across the client care worker team.
- Develops the trust and respect of the residents; acts as a role model in compassion toward residents for client care workers to emulate.
- Builds good relationships with staff, communicate client needs and issues with case managers.
- Takes responsibility for guiding client care workers on their shift duties including intakes, incident reports, rounds and de-escalation.
- Ensures best practices are in place for cleaning and food prep protocols.
- Supports the Operations Director with protocols and processes related to state and county requirements.
- Attend staff meetings and in-service training workshops as required.
- Other duties as required.
