Duties

- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client care as required by healthcare regulations.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning to ensure a safe living environment.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals tailored to each client's needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
- Perform CPR and first aid when necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting and transferring clients safely.
- Familiarity with medical records management and basic healthcare procedures is essential.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional training in patient care practices is advantageous.
