Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA with Caring Hands Staffing, you will provide essential care to patients, support their daily activities, and ensure their comfort and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Mobility Assistance: Aid patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Certification: Must have a valid California CNA certification.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA is preferred but not required.
- CPR Certification: Current CPR certification.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Training Hours: Completion of at least 150 hours of state-approved CNA training, including 100 hours of supervised clinical training.
- Competency Exam: Successful completion of the California CNA competency exam.
- Continuing Education: Ongoing education as required by California state regulations to maintain certification.
