Medical Office Assistant/Phlebotomist

The Caring Healthcare Network is currently seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist to join our team in Philipsburg, PA. This position is full-time, (5) days a week. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn our everyday practices and procedures, be hard-working and enjoy a fast-paced environment. We want someone that shares our same commitment to loyalty, honesty and making our patients a number one priority.

Requirements:

• BLS/CPR certification
• 2 years experience (preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)
• Phlebotomy Certification is preferred for this position.

What you can do to be part of the care team:

• Accurately perform and record vital signs.
• Room patients in a timely manner.
• Accurately perform and record pill counts.
• Accurately input and discontinue medications.
• Accurately and efficiently update patient charts.
• Perform point of care testing (urinalysis, glucose).
• Administer vaccines and injections.
• Process prior authorizations (medical and imaging) in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Complies with State and Federal Regulations
• Works collaboratively with members of the healthcare team and staff

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (dependent upon certification and experience)
