Experience is preferred but we are willing to train for the right candidate. Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred, and applicants with CNA certification and relevant experience are encouraged to apply as well.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Escorting patients from waiting room to exam rooms
- Accurately gathering and recording vital signs
- Preparing patients for provider examination, gathering relevant clinical information, conducting a review of systems (ROS), reviewing patient medical history, and updating the patient’s list of medications
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Assisting provider during examinations/procedures as needed
- Performing basic diagnostic procedures according to established protocols
- Ensuring exam rooms are consistently clean, stocked, and ready for use
Administrative Responsibilities
- Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
- Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient appointment schedulingUpdating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Processing prescription refill requests
- Sending referrals and prior authorizations and following up on status as needed
- Performing basic clerical duties as needed
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Internal medicine practices, particularly in outpatient settings.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures.
- Understanding of coding systems for medical billing.
- Experience in dermatology or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) settings is a plus.
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to assist in accurate patient assessments.
- Previous experience in urgent care environments is advantageous.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old
- Must hold current CNA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must adhere to all company policies and federal/state healthcare laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
