Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating animal health issues, educating pet owners on proper care, and ensuring the overall well-being of animals in our care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various animal ailments, including administering vaccinations and medications.
- Perform surgical procedures using aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and health of the animals.
- Provide emergency care as needed, including animal catheterization and other critical interventions.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated in accordance with legal requirements.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
- Proven experience in veterinary practice is preferred; internships or externships will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and common diseases affecting various species.
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures related to animal diagnostics.
- Experience with pet grooming and handling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy in all interactions.

Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
