Job Overview:
As a Veterinarian at Caring Hearts Animal Hospital, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch medical services to a diverse range of animals, including dogs, cats, and occasional exotic pets. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating various health conditions, performing surgeries, and promoting overall wellness in our beloved animal companions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations, administer vaccinations, and provide preventative healthcare for pets
- Diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and perform surgical procedures when necessary
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment regimens as needed
- Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, behavior management, and healthcare practices
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients
- Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure seamless clinic operations
Skills:
- Animal restraint: Proficiency in safely handling and restraining animals during examinations and procedures
