Job Overview
Caring Hearts at Home is a Christian in home caregiver service that is seeking compassionate and dedicated Christian in-home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to our clients. The ideal candidate will provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other inflictions. The candidate is also responsible for ensuring service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

- Personal Care assistance
- Activities of Daily Living Assistance
- Elimination assistance
- Nutrition planning and assistance
- Personal Safety Assistance
- Companionship
- Assistance with correspondence and paying bills
- Light Housekeeping
- Monitoring supplies and resources
- Community Outing Escorting
- Pet Care assistance
Experience Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- GED
- Valid Drivers License and proof of insurance
- Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards and evaluation of client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat injuries including emergency first aid and CPR.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.
- Fluent in English
- Self-driven and motivated on independent and team tasks and to monitor the effectiveness of services.
- Ability to competently assist clients with their activities of daily living
- Keen sense of personal and social awareness and ability to observe and recognize changes in client
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships
- Ability to relate positively, influentially and sensitively to a broad spectrum of persons to include but not limited to staff, clients, clients’ family, client care teams, community partners, etc.
- Ability to identify problems and determine effective solutions.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform activities that use the whole body
- Good physical and mental health
- Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and see.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
