Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide mobility support, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required.
- Help patients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Engage patients in conversation and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
