Direct Care Staff 7am-3pm

Responsibilities of this job:

• Administer medications
• Documentation of daily activities
• Assisting client to and from activities in the community
• Assisting the client with managing their money
• Assist with all hygiene care (shower, brushing teeth, changing diapers, etc)
• Activities in the home (coloring, puzzles, games, chores, etc)
• Requirements:
• Treating the client with dignity and respect
• Responsible, clean, professional
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or proof of 5 years of experience in direct care
• Must have a dependable insured vehicle
• Pass a background screening
• Complete adult first aid/CPR/AED classes
• Complete Level 1 Med Aid (training's paid for)
• No lifting or diapers

Prefer experience with caring for others but willing to train the right person

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Rotating weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CMA1 (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
